Neat concept! I played about half way into the 3rd level aaaand it crashed, BUT it's pretty fun! One crit I'd give is maybe don't reset the level if the player accidentally walks off the side of the screen. Other than that, this is a fun concept. :P

MadNukin responds:

it's already fixed. You can try again!

Edit: Okay, my mistake! The blueprints do come back, even the plant life. Cool! That makes things better, because nooowww.... garden possibilities. :P

Pretty fun lil game! Kinda wish there was a little more to it, like maybe some NPCs roaming around over time or some critters running about. Feels a little lonely. ^^; A setting to turn the camera sensitivity waaaay down would be welcome. Also, maybe refund the player a bueprint if they build and decide to remove something. I accidentally placed something because I reflexively wanted to jump and not place on more than one occasion... gotta get the bench to face the water, but ehhhgh, can't... get into place. Other than that, the music is nice, the ambience is nice, the visuals are nostaligically nice... it's nice!

GroovelStudio responds:

Thanks for playing! The buildings that you demolish returns to your inventory as if nothin ever happened. So enjoy rebuilding ^^

Needs a LOT more work. Pushing shoot without a weapon in the second level made the game crash, art is very subpar, spelling errors and the option menu doesn't make any sense and has missing assets. Shooting that first block offered no feedback, so I wasn't sure if it was doing anything at first by shooting it. Moving platforms are not there yet, as you hav eto move on them to stay on them, rather than them transporting you forward, restarting the game doesn't save progress and makes the game assets act strange sometimes... Also, please... never start the game in fullscreen. Maybe give this one another look over, eh? It could be good.

Edit: Responding to the response, I'm on Windows 10.

BroproGames responds:

Your comments were taken into account when preparing the update. Fixed a bug with the box on the first level, and improved the moving platforms. Spelling errors will be corrected in the future. Follow the news.

It works. You mention adding more to the game, right? While it certainly works well enough, it needs a LOT more to be a solid game. For one, you can shoot as fast as you want without reloading. This leaves me to wanna just throw on an auto-clicker and wreck face... which isn't really challenging at all. Maybe make the player have to aim and make their shots count before they must reload or something? More weapons would be nice, too. Enemy variation is a MUST. Make some that stay at a certain distance and shoot back or smaller ones that zig zag or big ones that take many hits or one that splits into several small ones or that leave a temporary hazard. Get crazy! Music, sound and certainly some more art assets would be great.

Anyways, it works! But... that's just it. It works and that's about it. ^^; Add on it, though! You could make something nice. :P

Thank You for Your opinion. Yes, for now it is very simple game. I know I must focus on polishing this game and I will add some features soon.
I’m very grateful for this comment. You helped me a lot :)

Interesting concept, but execution isss... not so good. It's either based on running forward until you get shot or stopping constantly and pressing snipe mode to make sure you don't get shot. Maybe if we zoomed everything out, used mouse controls and made it to where you can see the lasers all the time, it might be better? Good attempt, though.

speed8327 responds:

hey "Zeta-Neubourn", thanks for the Awesome Feedback.
In "Ruffle:Chapter 2", the aim/zoom controller will be from mouse and will be more user friendly ... and more awesome features will be included.
So stay tuned.

Summary

First off, this isn't a shooter... at all. Dunno why it's there.

Second off, good idea, but it's really easy when it shows you how the picture was shuffled. I managed to complete normal in two moves at one point because of this.

Thirdly, you might wanna squueze the block together a bit so it's easier to see.

Other than those things, it looks nice and plays well, it's just too easy... and it's not a shooter. XD I'm only saying that because that's what category it's under.

Tamakum responds:

Thanks for writing. I don´t know why it saved the genre as "shooter" when I uploaded the game as "puzzles/sliding". I edited the game and saved it again, now it´s correct.

Broken

In level 2 there are some platforms that don't work.

triblade responds:

ok thx 4 ur feed back ill be sure to fix these

More like a movie than a game...

I think this'd be suited for a movie... I mean, it's probably confusing because you actually have to interact with it, but it sure is NOT a game. XD

Anyways, whichever, right? This is a good tutorial. It's pretty basic, so that's why I give it a 6. The music that goes with it is nice, too.

K-Guare responds:

Your the second person to say that, so,
i think i'm just gonna label it as a movie.
Thanks for watching ;]
